Like many in the radio communications industry,
WillowFalls Consulting has a connection with Amateur
(Ham) radio.
WillowFalls Consulting supports the Emergency
Measures Radio Group (EMRG), the local ARES (Amateur
Radio Emergency Service) for Ottawa. Support includes
providing hosting for the EMRG website, technical
support, access to tools and donation of two UHF
repeaters.

Hospital Emergency Preparedness Committee of Ottawa (HEPCO)
Through our volunteer efforts, we participate in the
Hospital Emergency Preparedness Committee of Ottawa (HEPCO) as
a non hospital member. HEPCO is an organization of Hospitals
and Healthcare providers in Ottawa, with participation from
Public Safety and NGOs, focused on emergency preparedness
for Healthcare in Ottawa.
HEPCO uses radio communications to link the health care
institutions for Emergency Management. Radio
provides one-to-many communications for quick sharing of
information, and is independent of all other communications
systems.
WillowFalls provides consulting services to HEPCO
members as part of our continued support for our community.
